The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, March 9 reveals Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will be shocked by Patty Williams’ (Stacy Haiduk) admission.
Also coming up, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will have second thoughts. Plus, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will offer up Chancellor to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). And Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will consider their future.
Y&R spoilers tease Chelsea will ask Adam if he’s okay. “I can’t say that I’m happy that neither of us is employed right now,” he’ll reply. Chelsea will say when she tried to log into Newman Media it redirected her to Spectra Charles. Adam will say he got the same thing and wanted to throw his laptop at the wall.
“If Newman Enterprises is really done,” she’ll ask Adam. “What does that mean for our future?” Adam will tease her and say maybe he could go back to being Spider, a Las Vegas card shark. And Chelsea could run a con. They’ll joke around about possibly heading to Monte Carlo to make ends meet.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Billy Receives A Photo Of An Unconscious Jack
At Newman Enterprises, Phyllis will tell Billy he has some nerve, interrupting her conversation with her son. “Everything has changed,” Billy will say. “You signing this contract is a matter of life and death.” He’ll add that losing Newman Enterprises has pushed Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to a whole new level of threat. Phyllis will ask what he means.
“Victor did with Jack what he did with Lily and the kids,” Billy will admit. “And if I don’t give him Chancellor back, I don’t see my brother again.” Phyllis will tell him he needs to relax. “Victor is throwing a tantrum.” Billy will say Victor’s desperate, which makes him very dangerous.
Phyllis will refuse and Billy will say she better have those contracts ready in an hour, or else. She’ll ask if he’s threatening her and Billy will tell her he’s getting his brother back. He’ll storm out of her office and meet up with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) at Society.
Diane won’t be shocked to hear Phyllis hasn’t committed to returning the company, even if Jack’s life is at risk. “What if it isn’t?” Billy will reply. But Diane will say Jack’s in danger, she can feel it. Billy will have a temper tantrum, saying he’s going to lose everything again. But he’ll send Victor a text, asking for proof that he has Jack. And he’ll receive a photo of his unconscious brother.
Meanwhile, Jack’s mouth will open, as he stares at Patty. “It’s definitely surreal and a long time coming,” she’ll tell him. “You don’t have to be afraid, I come in peace.” Jack will ask how she’s there. He’d heard she was in a maximum psychiatric facility, with no chance of getting out.
But Patty will say she’s a changed woman and she’s there to make amends. “I’ve been rehabilitated Jack.” Patty will add she knows he forgave Diane and even married her. “I’d like you to spread a little of that love my way.” She’ll ask him to open his heart. “To you?” he’ll reply. “Never.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Phyllis Tells Victor She Owns Chancellor
Patty will leave, locking the door. But she’ll return quickly with a rolling tray, containing a meal and a selection of drinks. He’ll say there’s no way he’s eating or drinking anything. So, she’ll suggest she be his taster, like the kings had. “I’ll sample your food and drink, make sure they’re not poisonous.”
Jack will ask what she’s after and Patty will say she’s there to heal the “inhuman” damage she’s done. He’ll say he’s had second chances and could even forgive her. “But you need to get me out of this room.” He’ll add that if she lets him go, they can go their separate ways. “I’m afraid that’s not an option,” she’ll say. “Because I’m not the one in charge here.”
Finally, Phyllis will head to the ranch to see Victor. He’ll say if he were her, he’d admit to the error of his ways and make things right. “I am not giving up Newman Enterprises,” Phyllis will say. “Is it true about Jack?” He’ll tell her it’s between he and Billy Boy.
“No, actually, it’s between you and me. Billy doesn’t own Chancellor, I own Chancellor,” Phyllis will reply. “So if you want to negotiate, it’s going to be with me.” But Victor will say it’s not a negotiation, it’s a demand. Phyllis will say he’s not going to do anything to Jack, or to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and the kids. Victor will ask if Phyllis is willing to turn her back on Jack, like she has done to so many others.
“Chancellor is still under my control, you can have that back,” she’ll say. “In turn for my generosity, you return Jack, Lily, Mattie and Charlie.” So, Victor will tell Phyllis to give him an hour. “Draw up the papers and then we’ll see. But one thing, don’t ever start negotiating again, or the deal is off.”
